The short version: tabi is a small independent app. tabi is free while it is in beta, with every feature switched on. Use tabi for anything you like. What you say and what you write stays yours. Do not use the relay to run something that is not tabi, and do not clone a voice that is not yours. If it breaks, tell us and we will fix it, but we cannot promise it will never break.
You may install and use tabi on your own Macs, for personal work or paid work. tabi needs no account and no card. You may not sell tabi, pass it off as your own, or take it apart to reuse the relay for something that is not tabi. tabi runs on Mistral AI's models; Mistral does not build, own or endorse tabi.
tabi is free while it is in beta, with every feature switched on. A paid plan may come later. If it does, you will be told in the app before anything you use changes, and you are never charged without agreeing to it first.
tabi is young. Features can change, move, or be removed, and the app can have bugs. If a feature you use is going away, it will be said on this site first. tabi updates itself, unless you switch that off in Settings.
Your recordings, your takes, and anything tabi writes for you belong to you. No claim is made on any of it. How your words travel is described on the privacy page, and that page is part of these terms.
The app reaches Mistral through our relay, which carries the API key, so every take costs us real money. There is a fair-use limit on everything so one install cannot run up the bill for everyone. Please do not script the relay, share the app's token, or run bulk jobs through it. Doing that ends access for that install.
Read aloud can use a voice built from a sample you provide. Only clone a voice that is yours, or one you have clear permission to use. Cloning someone else's voice without their consent is your responsibility, not tabi's.
tabi is provided as it is, with no promise that it will be available, accurate, or fit for a particular job. Dictation makes mistakes and cleanup can change meaning, so read what lands before you send it. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost work, lost income, or anything that follows from using or not being able to use the app. Nothing here removes rights you have that cannot be removed by agreement.
You keep every mandatory consumer right your own country gives you, and nothing on this page limits them. These terms are governed by the laws of India, but that choice does not take away the protection of rules that apply to you where you live, and you can bring a claim in your own courts.
You can stop using tabi at any time by deleting the app and your history folder. Access to the relay can be ended for an install that abuses it, as described above.
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Nothing here changes retroactively for something that already happened.
